What is your philosophy behind the service you provide?
I enjoy providing my clients with gorgeous, gallery-quality artwork for their walls. I find the creative process interesting and am constantly learning as I see into my client’s world. I work with my clients to develop an artist/mission statement about their session and desired results. As I guide clients in the designing process, we work as a team to find solutions that showcase their one-of-a-kind images in their homes with professional heirloom quality canvases and framed portraits—capturing an enduring legacy for generations to come.
My goal is to provide outstanding customer service and archival museum-quality portraits, gaining clients for life.
What to expect from your portrait session:
First, we have a creative consult for your session. There is no charge for this initial meeting. I can come to your home if you like, as an in-home consultation is the best way to determine what art needs to be created for your space. You can also come to my home studio.
Second, we’ll discuss your vision and then brainstorm -on session location (studio, home, outdoor, even a family ranch or beach home), wardrobe and lighting. I will want to gain an understanding of the people to be photographed, including the age of any children and the dynamics of the relationships for group photos.
Third, I will guide you through the many artistic choices offered (such as painting and oils, canvas, watercolor, Black & White, Gallery prints) and the process will evolve into the art that will hang in your home for years to come. We’ll take all of your distinctive needs into account, discuss your investment level and chose the options to meet your goal.
The fourth step is the hardest—gathering everyone’s calendar and carving out a time to schedule the session and the purchasing appointment. Your session fee will be paid at this time.
The day of the session, I’ll have everything set and ready for you. I promise to work quickly and efficiently to maximize our smile time with any children involved in the shoot.
At the purchasing appointment, we’ll meet and review the images and products that were previously selected and place your order. Depending on the products ordered, the completion timeline may vary from 3 weeks to 3 months. Each portrait is professionally retouched, printed and finished. I’ll also schedule home or work installation for large artwork or studio pick-up.
What is the typical investment that most people make?
Starting investments typically begin somewhere between $1,500. And $2,200., although many clients will invest $5,000. – $10,000., if purchasing several items, such as custom-framed wall portraits with hand-painted effects, large canvas wraps, wall folios and custom-designed albums.
Do you offer a payment plan?
Yes, for all orders over $1,200., we offer 50% down, due at the ordering session and the remaining 50% due within 30 days. Given the custom nature of our service and product, orders are only activated once paid in full.
We accept MasterCard, Visa, American Express, check and cash.
Delivery time may vary, depending on the finishing of the photography.
Special offers and promotions are not valid if payment plan is used.
Do you offer any kind of guarantee?
Absolutely. We want you to be absolutely thrilled with your experience and any purchase you make with us. You are never under any obligation to make a purchase of any kind, if you’re not satisfied with your portraits.
We unconditionally guarantee that; (1) from your session, we’ll create breathtaking images that will touch your heart and warm home or we’ll re-photograph your session at no cost or refund your original session fee, and; (2) Upon delivery, if you are not 100% satisfied with the final product(s) we’ve created for you, we’ll reproduce and replace them – or refund 100% of any amount you have paid.
Can you help me with custom-designed albums and photographic displays from other sources?
Maybe you went to a “turn and burn” photographer and all you have from your session is a disk or thumb drive of images from your destination wedding or family vacation. Now you’re wanting a finished album or wall portraits to view. You can send us your photographs that need to be edited and printed or an album to be designed.
We’ll be happy to talk with you about your project and give you an estimate at no charge. We’ll professionally edit the images to showcase the best of your event and create an album. Once the album design is complete, you’ll be able to review and make 1 revision at no charge (additional revisions will be charged at $150.00 per revision). After the album design is approved, your custom album will be ordered. It usually takes about 8-10 weeks for a finished album.
